1. Interesting graph... I'd like to see the dates associated with the data tho - if memory serves Google was late to the game and benefited significantly from the groundwork laid down by other companies the went before them. Yahoo in particular was big long before the .com bubble went pop, and the fact that they're still such a big player is a testament to their strength and relevance in the marketplace. That said - no one can deny Google's massive presence. You know you've made it when your company name has become common vernacular as a verb. "Just google it"
